Texture : both soft and crunchy. We love the sweetness of tomatoes, olives and feta. The crunch of cucumber and green pepper wakes up the salad.

Tasting : Greek salad can be eaten as a single dish for a very light meal. Otherwise it is served as a starter with a little bread. It can also be served with a little roast chicken, skewers, to make a more complete meal. Ideal as an accompaniment to the barbecue for example!

What ingredients should you plan for this Greek salad?

You will only need 6 ingredients for Greek salad : cucumber, cherry tomatoes (or vine tomatoes), green pepper, red onion, pitted black olives, block feta.

PS: it is a tradition in Greece to do not crumble the feta in the salad! They serve it right on top of the salad. This will keep the salad longer (this prevents the feta from soaking in the middle of the vegetables).
