Le mug cake, it's so practical when you want to have fun without spending too much time in the kitchen! The advantage is that it is ready in 2 minutes chrono. Enough to satisfy our high speed chocolate cravings!

What ingredients for a chocolate mug cake?

Inside this cake served in a mug, the same ingredients as in a classic cake. There is therefore a flour / cornstarch mixture, yeast, sugar, eggs, milk, oil for the softness.

To bring the chocolate flavor, we use the bitter cocoa powder and dark chocolate pastry coarsely chopped. This brings gluttony to the chocolate mug cake.

I added in addition to praline, because I love it when it is mixed with chocolate. But it remains optional in this recipe.

How to make a chocolate mug cake?

It is very simple ! On one side we mix together the dry ingredients, on the other side the liquid ingredients.

We add the chocolate pieces coarsely chopped, then pour the batter into the mugs. You can decorate the top by adding chocolate and praline.

For cooking, it is at microwave. Allow 1 to 2 minutes depending on the desired effect: more or less cooked ...

Ingredients:

  • 40 g light brown sugar
  • 30 g of flour
  • 30 g cornflour
  • 20 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cc of baking powder
  • 80 ml of milk
  • 80 ml oil
  • 1 lightly beaten whole egg
  • 6 dark chocolate pastry squares
  • A little Praline optional

Instructions:

  • In a container, combine the dry ingredients.
  • Gradually incorporate the liquid ingredients.
  • Finish by adding the coarsely chopped chocolate squares.
  • Pour the batter into 2 mugs. Sprinkle with a little praline (like me), and add a little chopped chocolate on top of each mug.
  • Cook in the microwave for 1 or 2 minutes (this time varies from one microwave to another). The more you bake, the drier the cake is ...
