Panna Cotta Café Vanilla Leaning

Panna Cotta Café Vanilla Penchée - Lilie Bakery

An original recipe, simple and quick to prepare: Leaning vanilla coffee panna cotta ! We love their creamy and fresh flavors and the duo of vanilla coffee flavors that are very smooth on the palate. I also give you my tip for making tilted panna cotta (easily available with other flavors).

For those who love coffee for dessert, you should try this fresh and light recipe. If we love Panna Cotta so much, it's for their smoothness but also for the disconcerting speed it takes to prepare them! The perfect "last minute" dessert when you don't have a lot of ingredients on hand ...

What ingredients are needed for this panna cotta coffee recipe?

Liquid cream: to obtain very smooth panna cotta we use whole liquid cream at 30% mg, especially not light.

Milk: I like to add more in this recipe to lighten the creamy side a little bit.

Granulated sugar : adjust the dose to your personal taste.

Gelatin: here you can use gelatin or agar agar to hold the panna cotta coffee. For agar agar, I advise you to refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the dosage.

Coffee : to provide the coffee flavor, hot or cold liquid coffee is added. I used a long coffee, but using an espresso the result will be stronger in taste know that.

Vanilla : I used a vanilla bean for this recipe, otherwise you can use natural vanilla extract.

How to make a leaning panna cotta?

It is very simple. We start with the vanilla part : to do this, heat the cream, milk, sugar, grains and vanilla pod in a saucepan. Then, we soften the gelatin in cold water and then melt it in the hot cream off the heat.

Then we pour halfway into the glasses then we tilt them in the fridge. I hold them against a rolling pin on a tea towel: they do not move. Let them take several hours before realizing the other flavor.

After, we then realize the coffee part. It's the same principle: we heat the ingredients in the pan then add the softened and drained gelatin last. You have to let cool a little so that it does not melt the vanilla part. We pour into the glasses (which are very cold) and let it all set many hours in the refrigerator. At this stage we decorate with chocolate shavings, praline or any other decoration of your choice!

“Panna cotta”, “Tour de Pisa”, it's true that there are a lot of Italian references ;-)

Not for all shapes of glasses, and less practical to define the desired inclination, but that's my point of view ...
